Statement of Faith
The Bible, both Old and New Testaments, were written by human authors divinely inspired by God. It is the final revelation of God’s will to man and is the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct. (We use the King James Version as the textbook in our school.)
There is one living and true God. He is eternal, omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. His nature is holy, just, and loving. He is the creator and ruler of the universe, worthy of all honor, confidence, and love.
In the unity of the Godhead, there are three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. All are equally God, the same nature yet fulfilling different offices in the work of redemption.
The Father is the holy, all-powerful, perfect creator of the universe.
Jesus Christ is the virgin-born Son of God that is the eternal and perfect sacrifice to atone for the sins of man allowing us to be justified and redeemed out of our sin and restored into a relationship with the Father.
The Holy Spirit convinces man of God’s truth and draws us to Christ as Savior, equips us for ministry, empowers us for service, and produces spiritual fruit in our life.
We accept the Genesis account for creation, that God directly created man. We reject the notion that man is the product of evolution.
Man was created in the image of God. However, man voluntarily disobeyed God and not only incurred physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God.
Salvation is a gift from God. It is given by grace through faith without any works for all who will receive Christ as their Lord and Savior. All believers have righteousness imputed to them and become children of God and citizens of Heaven.
All Christians are required to live a sanctified and holy life, not in order to be saved but to please Christ and be an effective witness for Him.
